Undeniably, he has been one of the most consistent performers and it has a lot to do with his athletic roots, affording him an enviable control over his body. Yes, he’s the one who is almost sure to bring the house down in Dancing With The Stars season 14 episode 16.

Want to know who’s next on the punter’s list. The person receiving their honors now is William Levy, and I will not contradict them.  Although it is hard to pick the best among Donald and William, but if I had to pick one name, I would go with the punter’s choice.

For me, Donald is a complete package. With all said and done, let’s not take the other two contestants- Maria Menounos & Katherine Jenkins, out of contention.

The classical genre is tough to pull off and this you would have noticed as the dancers were not in their best forms and some performances were rather clumsy.

But there was this one couple who floored the judges as they were perfect in their paso doble. I am talking about Maria and Derek; they performed this lovely Paso Doble on Sergei Prokofiev’s Montagues and Capulets. They were awarded three 10s from the judges for their flawless performance. The performance was quite intense right from the start and the audience was left spellbound as the begged for more (at least I did at my place).

Derek is a great choreographer and these 30 points is because of his and Maria’s hard work, I am sure they must have been constantly monitoring their own progress from time to time. Only a few points behind from Derek and Maria, Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas scorched the stage with their rumba on Canon in D Major by Johann Pachelbel. They were graceful and lovely on stage and the judges praised them for their efforts.

Now as the time is passing by competition is getting intense and the dancers will have to come up with acts which are extraordinary and outlandish then only they would be able to survive in the game. So who do you think is going home this time when the results would be announced? Don’t forget to catch this segment.

Old is without doubt gold and no matter how contemporary our song choice become, we would always admire the songs from the past. The forthcoming segment Dancing with the Stars season 14 episode 12 is all about the classical numbers as the performers would sing the song and the dancers would dance on it.

Let’s hit the rewind mode and go back in the Motown week. The artists have to sing the song along with the band and the dancers were asked to perform on it. Gladys and Tristan starts off the week with their Rumba on My Girl.

Carrie Ann didn’t look much impressed with their performance and commented that there were some issues with the hip movement. But, Len really admired their dance performance and commented that he would love to vote for them. The couple was placed at the bottom two spot.

It was Jaleel and Kym and Katherine and Mark who stole the night with exquisite performances. Both the couples managed to score 29 points and were placed at number one and two spot; indeed they are too good as performers.

So what can we expect in the classical week, who is going and who is going to go back. The forthcoming segment would be a treat to catch.

Last week wasn’t all that jittery for the celebrities dancers on Dancing with the Stars show as for this time Gavin knew that he was running out of luck which has been saving him from the final fall that he received last week.

But, the segments were one of my favorites as the pairs scorched the stage with their talent, chemistry and Latin and Ballroom dance moves. Week 5 was an absolute gala time with the sizzling performances.

But what’s in store for us in Dancing with the Stars season 14 episode 10?

The show is taking a classic turn. Yes, I mean in literal sense it will turning classic since it is Motown week.

The remaining eight celebrity pairs are going to stage their performances on the classic Motown sounds which mean the tunes that they are going to be performing to R&B or soul music or a hybrid of pop and soul before they finally face the dance duel and eliminations in Dancing with the Stars season 14 episode 11.

So there are few things that are definite look forward to elements of the week 6 as we enter into.

Firstly the classic twist is going to render the show a sweet change as they perform one unlearned dance taking us back to 60s.

Then the best eight pairs who are fighting their way to the mirror ball trophy. The pairs include Maria and Derek, Gladys and Tristan and Melissa and Maks along with William and Cheryl, Katherine and Mark, and Donald and Peta and Jaleel and Kym and Roshon and Chelsie.

The dance forms sees an exciting variation as the couples will be performing Foxtrot, Rumba, Viennese Waltz, Jive, Samba and Quickstep.

Lastly along with the new dance duel rule we have an expected double elimination this week. Yes! We may get to watch two pairs going back home this week. So stay tuned to the show.

Technology acts like angels for the dancers at the show as they perform and look at their performance on the spectacular products of Apple. Maria Menounos and her dance pro partner Derek Hough work extremely hard during rehearsals and monitor their progress on iPhone and iPad. The video recorded on these gadgets are watched by them again and again in order to find glitches.

Indeed gadgets like iPhone and iPad help participants get a very honest opinion on their performance. They themselves judge it, Dancing with the Stars episodes online are clearly a proof that the dancers work and technology just help them do that.

Improving after each performance and each day is what the participants of this show desire and only through carefully monitoring they locate the flaws and work on it. In an interview, Derek commented that he always needed a third eye who would tell him how Maria has been performing.

So finally I did save their day and put a smile on that face.

Shocked and appalled after witnessing the last segment of Dancing with the Stars? The unexpected elimination of Sherri Shepherd and Val Chmerkovskiy blew out of the water and dismayed the audience, judges and the hosts as well, leaving every one teary eyed for it was as unpredictable as the tremors these days.

Melissa Gilbert and Maks Chmerkovskiy’s unfortunate mishap on the floor while they perform Paso Doble was another bolt from the blue for us. Don’t lose your heart guys, because every storm has a rainbow and coming with the same spirit is the Latin week in Dancing with the Stars season 14 episode 8.

Yes! Celebrating the lively, glitzy culture of the Latin America the dancers will take to entertain the audience with sensual, flamboyant, scintillating and joyfully energetic Latin dance forms.

So make arrangements to witness the segment that will blow your mind and get you excited with the sparkling fun that will be showcased. Watching Mellissa Gilbert make a comeback with her tantalizing partner Maks to perform Salsa is already exciting me. Doing the Salsa two other couples are Maria and Derek and Roshon and Chelsie. The perky and frolicsome Argentine Tango will be performed by Donald and Peta, William and Cheryl and Katherine and Mark. And swaying to the moves of samba are Gladys and Tristan, Gavin and Karina and Jaleel and Kym.

So the night is going to be an absolute dazzler as it will amuse us to the hilt. What is obvious is the elimination day that will be followed by the fun in Dancing with the Stars season 14 episode 9. Until that day keep dancing and rejoice.

Dancing With The Stars is undoubtedly the ruler of the roost, when it comes to dancing on reality television. The show’s appeal lies in the fact that it brings big names in the entertainment industry, and shows us a new side to them, as they explore the dancers in them.

They also got a standing ovation from the judges. It is great to get standing ovation in the very first segment of the current arc.

Bruno Tonioli who is known for his fiery behavior saluted Gladys after the performance. Bruno’s companions also commented that they have done a fabulous job on the stage.  With each passing season, the show is raising its bar and it expects that the dancers would be innovative in their approach.

Katherine and Mark were too good as they got 26 points for their performance on Lenka’s The Show. Similarly, Jaleel and Kym bagged 26 points as they danced on The Way You Look Tonight by Frank Sinatra. Dancers who failed to impress the judges were Gavin DeGraw, Melissa Gilbert and Martina Navratilova, they got the least points and it is possible that one of the might go back home.

After the elimination, the remaining couples would battle it out in Dancing with the Stars season 14 episode 3.
