She may have lost weight due to unhealthy diet but is ready to follow a healthy schedule now.  She added to her words with following statement, “I’m just bracing myself for the kind of, you know, rigorous routine (coming my way). For a few weeks, a few months I get to be a professional ballroom dancer and that’s going to be amazing and such hard work and I’m ready for it.”

Well, Brooke Burke, one of the strong contenders since the premiere of the show, won the seventh season of ‘Dancing with the Stars’. This femme fatale waltzed around with the mirror ball trophy in the season finale.

37 year old Brooke Burke and her partner professional dancer Derek Hough dominated the competition being placed first in eight of the ten shows. Making them the sure winner was two straight tens which they received on the finale night of the seventh season of ‘Dancing with the Stars’, aired on November 25, 08. The couple scored an 88 out of the 90 from judges and fans and became the best loved performers throughout the seventh season. Derek Hough’s statement after winning the competition was, “I actually can’t believe it, I really can’t. I honestly can’t.”

Well, I liked this couple from the very first day of seventh season. She was technically strong and also very consistent and their combined routines were better and ambitious than any of the other contestants. Other two notable couples were: Lance Bass and Lacey Schwimmer, who were known for their superb stage presence and technical skills; Warren Sapp and Kym Johnson who wowed the audience with their exuberance.
