‘This is my opportunity to get out there and actually perform,’ said 33 year old former teen star, Melissa Joan Hart, famous as teenage witch Sabrina, who is going to hit floors of ‘Dancing with the stars’ with Mark Ballas.

In addition to excitement, she is also getting nervous. Hart is worried about her joints too. She expressed her preparation for this show with following words, “I haven’t worked out in about two weeks so we’ll see what this dancing will do to me, and I’m a little worried about my joints… I know a lot of people last year got hurt so I’m hoping that I can just be as healthy and fit as possible.”

Hart has recently shifted with her family to Connecticut. She went there so that she can be near her mother, who underwent brain surgery earlier this year related to brain tumor. It shows that Hart has a big heart for her family. The actress expressed her experience by saying, “Moving to the East Coast and just… trying to like, juggle everything… I wasn’t eating on time, on a schedule, and because of that I was grabbing the wrong things, I’ll be like, ‘Oh, we haven’t eaten anything today. Let’s get some pizza.’ I think because of the stress of it all, I kept losing weight but not (in a) healthy (way).” And after loosing 42 LBS, she showed off her bikini body on the cover of People magazine.

She may have lost weight due to unhealthy diet but is ready to follow a healthy schedule now.  She added to her words with following statement, “I’m just bracing myself for the kind of, you know, rigorous routine (coming my way). For a few weeks, a few months I get to be a professional ballroom dancer and that’s going to be amazing and such hard work and I’m ready for it.”

Mya, Debi Mazar, Joanna Krupa, Ashley Hamilton, Mark Dacascos, Michael Irvin, Kathy Ireland, Macy Gray, Chuck Liddell, Natalie Coughlin, Aaron Carter, Louie Vito and Kelly Osourne are ready to give tough competition to Hart this season.
