Kelly Monaco has four siblings and she is the third of the five daughters of her parents. She was born in an Italian American family and in her childhood, her family decided to move from the urban environment of Philadelphia to the serene environment of Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains. She enrolled in St. Joachim’s Roman Catholic School and graduated from Pocono Mountain Sr. High in Swiftwater. She has been a sports lover since her childhood and is fond of soccer, swimming and track. She and her sisters grew up playing, hiking, climbing trees, swimming. She also worked as a lifeguard while attending Northampton Community College in Bethlehem. In her teenage, she decided to move to Los Angeles to pursue her dreams to become an actress. In 1999, she appeared in a soap opera named ‘Port Charles’ and she’s also seen in ‘General Hospital’, playing Samantha McCall. In 1996, she sent her nude modeling photos to ‘Playboy’ and became the ‘Playboy Playmate of the Month’ in April 2007. During her incumbency with them, she also appeared in their special editions. She has made cover appearances for men’s magazines, most notably ‘FHM’ and ‘Maxim’. Kelly Monaco secured 13 the place in the ‘Maxim’ Hot 100 list in May, 2006.
She made her acting debut in 1997 with a series named ‘Baywatch’. Her movie credits are: ‘BASEketball’, ‘Idle Hands’ and ‘Mumford’. She has been nominated twice for Emmy Award in 2003 and 2006 as ‘Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series’ and ‘Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series’ respectively.
She’s very close to her family, especially her great grandmother. She volunteers for children’s events and is also a member of the Playboy X-Treme Team. Currently, she resides in West Hollywood, California. She paired with Alec Mazo, a professional ballroom dancer and they won the award in the first season of ‘Dancing with the Stars’.
