Emmitt Smith, former American football player, paired with Cheryl Burke in the third season of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ and in the season finale they’re crowned as winners. He’s a three times ‘Super Bowl Champion’ and is one of the four running backs who led NFL in rushing three consecutive seasons. He’s one of the ‘Triplets’, along with Troy Aikman and Michael Irvin, who highlighted the Dallas Cowboys’ offense in 1990s.

He was born in Pensacola and he attended Escambia high School in the same town. As a childhood, he dreamed to join ‘America’s Team’. For his great achievements there, he was named the USA Today and Parade Magazine high school player in 1986. In 2007, Florida High School Athletic Association, named him the best player in the 100 year history of school. Due to his glorious records during his high school years, he was selected to play for the University of Florida.

In 1990, he joined the Cowboys and he very soon surpassed the legendary Tony Dorsett by helping the Cowboys to 3 SuperBowls. During his incumbency with as a Cowboy, he shattered various records. Next, he joined the Arizona Cardinals and retired with Dallas. In April, 2000, he married Patricia Southall. Nowadays, he works as a studio analyst for NFL Total Access.
